I am using an AOL browser and can't log-in. What should I do?
If you are experiencing difficult logging in such as constantly being informed that your username or password is wrong and you are sure they are right it may be due to the fact you are using an AOL browser. To solve the problem please carry out the following actions listed below. These instructions are for AOL 7 for Windows but other versions are very similar.
1. Clear browser's cache memory * Click MY AOL and select Preferences on the AOL menu bar. * Click the WWW button. * Click the General Tab. * Click Delete Files. * Click OK.
2. Clear browser's cookies * Go to keyword: Preferences * Click Internet Properties (WWW) * On the General Tab under Temporary Internet Files, click the Delete Files button. If you have a Delete Cookies button, click that. * Under History, click Clear History button. * Click OK and close the Properties window.
3. Configure browser to accept cookies * Select My AOL * Select Preferences from the Settings menu * Select Internet Properties (WWW) * Select the Security tab * Select the Internet Zone, then select the Custom button at the bottom of the window. The Security dialog then appears. * Scroll down to the Cookies section and select Always Accept Cookies * Click OK
4. Lower security setting * From the AOL Toolbar, select Settings * From the settings menu, select Preferences. You see the AOL Preferences window. * From the Organization column, click Internet Properties. * From within the Internet Properties window, click on the Security tab. * From the Web Content Zone, highlight Internet (which is associated with the world globe icon). * Locate the Security Level section and use the slider to set the security level to Medium and then click Apply * Click OK to exit.
5. Restart Browsers * Close all open browsers and reopen browser. Now try logging in again.
I could log in ok yesterday but today I can't. What should I do?
It's probably due to a problem with 'cookies' again! Within Internet Explorer and along the top menu bar click on 'tools\internet options' In the centre of the new window is a section named 'temporary internet files' Click on the button 'delete cookies' you will be asked to confirm your action, click OK to confirm followed by OK to close the 'internet properties' window. Now and try and log in again. Please note that this action may affect some other websites you regularly visit whereby a stored username etc. may no longer be stored and you will manually have to re-enter it once in order for it to be saved again.
PayPal subscription information and help
All subscription payment issues for Totally Bulgaria subscriptions are handled securely by PayPal. Once you have started your subscription, PayPal will automatically renew it for you on the date that it is due.
Warning: If you go in to your PayPal account and delete a card or bank account presently being used for your Totally Bulgaria subscription, PayPal will cancel the subscription. PayPal may also cancel a subscription if the credit card expires, or is not updated in the specific sequence that PayPal requires. PayPal gives warning of this, but it is in very small type and easy to overlook. If PayPal has cancelled your subscription, simply Login to totallybulgaria.com, click on the "PayPal Subscribe" button for the first NOT additional property to start a new subscription. You can also update any contact info on the Account Management Options page, as required. If there is an overlap in payment between the old and new subscriptions, send an email to
after you resubscribe, and we will refund the difference.
Restarting a Subscription: After cancellation, your Totally Bulgaria Username and password remain in the system so you are still able to login and manage your account. Your advertisment will also remain visible untill the original expiry date. The easiest way to restart is to wait until the day after your subscription was due to expire (this can be checked in your PayPal account) and then renew. If, however, you restart the subscription prior to the renewel date Totally Bulgaria will refund you for every full month of overlap between your original expirey date and the new start date.
Change Subscription Funding Source, or Cancel Subscription: To change the method of payment used by PayPal (credit card, instant transfer, eCheck, etc.) or to suspend/cancel your Totally Bulgaria subscription, log in to your PayPal account, and click on "History" to find one of the payments made to Totally Bulgaria. Click on "Details" to open the payment Transaction Details record. There will be a link at the top of the Transaction page, labeled "In reference to:". Click on the link to open the Subscription Details page. Scroll down to the "Subscription Funding Source" section, where you can select any one of the funding sources that you currently have established with your PayPal account. To suspend or cancel your subscription: click the "Cancel Subscription" button at the bottom of the Subscription Details page in PayPal.
Adding and Using a New Funding Source: If you wish to add a new funding source to use with your subscription, first ADD the new credit card or bank account to your PayPal account, then CHANGE the funding source shown on the Totally Bulgaria subscription record to use the new card/account. You can then delete the old credit card or account if you wish.
PayPal Renewal Notices: If you have recently received a "Payment Failed" notice from PayPal regarding a Totally Bulgaria subscription renewal, PayPal will retry two more times, giving you enough time to rectify the funding source for the subscription.
